About

My pursuit of black & white darkroom photography began in middle school. I graduated in journalism and photography from The Ohio State University and continued in photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Later, I worked professionally in photography.

I shoot both studio portraiture and whatever subject in the field that catches my eye.

I love shooting film because of its latitude, acutance, and longevity. For my film photography, I use a traditional wet darkroom.

I also enjoy shooting digital, and use it both for professional work and pleasure.

Film Cameras: Mamiya C330S and C33 Professional, Rolleiflex 3.5F, Leica IIIF, Hasselblad 500CM, Nikon FTn, on occasion a Minox B.
